Emma has a First Class Honours Degree in Textiles from The University of Edinburgh. She started her career as an embroiderer, working on many wonderful projects for Hand & Lock, where she learned her craft, before fine tuning her skills further to become an Edinburgh Kiltmakers Academy qualified Kiltmaker.
Her attention to detail, love of heritage and commitment to keeping traditional craftsmanship alive is present throughout all dimensions of her work, while approached with a contemporary edge.

Bespoke atelier based in Edinburgh creating perfectly tailored hand made kilts to luxurious embroideries.
The studio produces made-to-measure, traditional kilts created from the finest Scottish tartans and tweeds. Each kilt is expertly hand sewn and finished to the highest standard. The studio also provides bespoke hand embroidery specialising in a variety of techniques from monogramming to goldwork, and produces a yearly collection of work.
